VMWare 的vSphere Client 錯誤

在 6 月份Microsoft Update 自動更新後, XP 安裝的 vSphere Client 開始連不上 ESXi server
出現以下的錯誤訊息

Error parsing the server "11.22.33.44 (server ip)" "clients.xml" file. Login will continue, contact your system administrator.
按 ok 後出現

"VirtualInfrastructure.Utils.HttpWebRequestProxy"的類型初始值設定項引發異常。

結果是始終無法連上伺服器
Google 的結果發現這個問題在 Windows 7 已出現過, 是 .NET framwork 的版本造成的問題,
依Windows 7 上的修改方式將 .NET 2.0 的 System.dll 複製過去的修改法, 在 XP 下沒有用

解決的方法還是 從 VMWare 下載新的 vSphere Client 版本 4.0 U1 即可正常連線 ESXi 伺服器
